BIOGRAPHY
After stomping a finals spot at the '06 Breckenridge stop of the Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix, during an Olympic qualifying year, Dylan exploded on the scene. The younger bro of pro sister and teammate Clair, look for Team Bidez to be schooling a pipe near you this winter.

UPDATE
Bidez was one of the rookies to beat in the 2009 season as he notched a handful of top results that some pros have worked their whole career to get. Bidez made the World Championship team, but the not-so-great results he got there must have lit a fire underneath him as he charged to a third-place finish at the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix at Boreal Resort in California the weekend after. Then, in the following three World Cup competitions he entered, Bidez hit two top-15 results. The up-and-comer rounded out the season on the podium of Junior World Championships, finishing second.

FIRST TRACKS
After busting his skis the year before, Dylan decided to try something new and "cool," so he picked up an Avalanche 109 at the age of 5. "I told my mom not to bother getting me an new pair of skis because I wanted to snowboard.” When he hit 9, he and sister Clair (12 at the time) joined Team Summit with Coach Jim Smith.

I AM
Sushi, rock and hip hop, skateboarding with friends and always packing fresh undies. At home, it's all about family and "Mabel, my nine-year-old cat; Boomhower, my six-year-old cat; Zoe, my three-year-old dog; and Wilbur, my year-old dog... Oh yeah, I compete with a fake mustache securely attached to my upper lip...Favorite contest is the Breckenridge Grand Prix because it's close to home...Best Run Ever: "The best time I have ever had snowboarding was in Copper Mountain when the American Flyer lift opened the first day of the 2006 season. Right after my friend Jake and I got on, the lift stopped and it closed down for about 45 minutes. They were having mechanical problems with the lift so they got everybody who was on the lift (about four chairs full) to the top and then shut it down. All the way down the run there was about four feet of powder and it was the best run I had ever taken - well worth the 45-minute chair ride"...Little-known fact: my bedroom curtains are red.
